There is nothing quite like your senior year of high school. You have been getting ready for this year since kindergarten. Your Mom may not be ready, but I bet you are. You are about to spread your wings and fly! This is one of the reasons that I love capturing who you are at this stage in life. The page is about to turn on this chapter and these photos mark that. I want to capture your style, your favorite outfits, the way you love your hair, the jersey you can’t quite part with, the sports you have loved, the way you laugh, the way you look when you're content…all of it! Senior pictures are designed to be fun, relaxing, and easy! I want to capture you being YOU! Bring your mom, your best friend, your big brother, whoever will make you feel the most relaxed. I love capturing seniors at various Des Moines locations. I have my favorites for sure, but I also would love to hear what you most want your photos to reflect. For some that is a country feel, fields and dirt roads. For others they desire more of an urban setting, bricks and buildings. Some seniors want both, which, thankfully, Des Moines offers within miles of each other. My goal is for your images to reflect who you are, and we can do that anywhere with your smile alone.
Senior pictures can be a stressful experience, but Susan was a pro at helping us through the process! From last-minute outfit advice to an unexpected change of venue, Susan was accommodating and relaxed, resulting in a fantastic experience. She truly captured my Ellen & Joe's personalities which made the pictures feel less “cookie cutter” and more unique. I couldn’t be happier with the results!
